Flying cars are now a reality

I fully expected vertical take off flying cars around 2015, blame the back to the future series of movies for that.  As you all know this didn't happen much to our disappointment. However just recently AirCar has received a certificate of airworthiness, which means we are one step closer to this being a way to travel.

Sitting in traffic may now be a thing of the past, but don't send in your deposit for your pre-order just yet. While this is a step in the right direction, it doesn't mean mass production is coming any time soon. Not to mention you will need a pilot's license to operate the car in the sky.

In other words you have some work to do before you will find yourself behind the wheel and in the air of your very own flying car.
